Our Programmes

Supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or both to build skills, confidence and meaningful futures across East Sussex and the surrounding areas.

A journey shaped around each person

At Little Gate, we follow a holistic approach, and our support is ongoing. Our programmes are designed to support people with learning disabilities, autism, or both to grow in confidence, develop skills, and move towards greater independence across East Sussex and the surrounding areas.

There’s no single starting point. Some begin by building confidence and practical skills through either our work training centre or college programmes, while others join us ready to take steps closer to employment. Wherever someone starts, our programmes connect to create a clear, supportive pathway forward.

As individuals progress, they can access real-world experiences through work training, social enterprise and Supported Apprenticeships. For those ready for employment, our Supported Employment and Work & Thrive programmes provide personalised support to find and sustain meaningful, paid work.

We work closely with each individual, as well as families and employers, to ensure the right support is in place at every stage. The focus is always on what’s possible – helping people build skills, gain independence and move towards a future that works for them.
